Eastern Oregon in my opinion is one of the most unique areas in the Northwest. The landscape can vary from the sagebrush
high deserts of Burns and Baker City to the lush green forests on the west end of the Columbia River Gorge located
at Hood River.
In Eastern Oregon you can experience a wide variety of outdoor activities from hiking to sailboarding. There is something
for everyone, including museums of history, National Scenic areas ideal for photography, Fossil beds for those who enjoy Archeology.
There are ideal locations to study and document the geology of the northwest from the deepest canyons to once active
volcanos.
